Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is ranked among the top economic schools of higher education in Poland, and an important center of science and research. Its activities are aimed at maintaining and strengthening the position of the university on regional, national, and international levels, improving competitive advantage, and shaping its image of a modern institution, open and friendly to its employees, students, and the environment.
The university's research and teaching activities are conducted at three faculties and the branch in Jelenia Góra. The educational offer includes 14 programs in Polish, 5 programs in English and a Doctoral School. The Children's Economic University and the University of the Third Age are also very popular.
WUEB sees its mission as a leading centre of creative thought and economic education in its region of Europe. Internationalisation becomes an increasingly important part of this mission, and WUEB is currently managing the transition from an institution that was mostly catering to the needs of the local community to one that is firmly embedded into a university with an international outreach. As part of this process, WUEB has obtained a number of international accreditations on the program and institutional level (e.g. EPAS, IQA CEEMAN, ACCA, with AACSB in progress).
Our University is oriented towards outstanding education of experts and business leaders. We will implement modern didactics that draws from educational methods combining the individualization of the teaching process and innovative technologies. The University's didactic model will be based on the phenomenon-based learning approach and interdisciplinary projects and didactic programs will be created and implemented in cooperation with its key stakeholders.
