HEAR FROM OUR GLOBAL ALUMNI

HEAR FROM OUR GLOBAL ALUMNI

This may be a cliché, but it still holds true: life begins at the end of your comfort zone. For me, this meant moving from the U.S. to Italy to become a medical student at UniSR. It was not the easiest decision to make, but I was convinced that it is a perfect way for me to combine my interest in Italian language and culture with my passion for medicine into one. I have no regrets whatsoever about having taken this initiative: I am living in the beautiful city of Milan, following my lifelong dream of becoming a physician. Most importantly, being an international MD student at UniSR has taught me to be more open-minded, flexible, and persistent, which are essential attributes of a good physician. Overall, this experience has opened many doors for me that were not there before; it has allowed me to view healthcare from a much more global perspective and made me look forward to my future career with confidence.
