Founded in 1993, the University of Almería (UAL) is a public research University famed for its R&D in the areas of Management, Agriculture, and Humanities. Ranked in the Top 40 nationally, and top 1000 worldwide, it has become an increasingly sought-after destination for international students, which now comprise 12% of the student population. Although I could not speak a word of Spanish, I dared to travel and study at the University of Almería and it was definitely a great choice! The Master´s Programme (classes, activities, presentations, academic talks) was carried out in English, so I could follow everything… and even learnt some Spanish by attending some courses on Centro de Lenguas.
I first heard about about this Master in Vietnam. I have no Spanish skills, but luckily all the wide range of subjects are taught in English. The most impressive thing I found was the enthusiasm and empathy of UAL’s community, trying to make this Master better. I strongly believe that this Master will become popular and highly rated in Spain.
I chose this Master because I wanted to improve my Spanish and my English. The Master sounded really interesting because it covered many different subjects. What I really liked about this Master is the way we learned: Not just theory, but many practical cases, many team exercises and lessons with many employees of Spanish companies who came to teach us!
This Master’s was truly international! We were 14 students from 11 different countries, and professors from Norway, Spain, and Finland. We really learned about BBAT, Physiotherapy and Mental Health. Reflecting on how life is movement, we acquired the necessary knowledge and experience to improve the quality of life of our patients, which is our mission as PT.
