I’m studying the second year bachelor degree here, in the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. I was a little bit nervous when I came here, because Romania is the first foreign country I came. But after a month I adopted here very quickly because of the beautiful city and its amazing people. I learned here to be independent and to deal with people as I wanted. First year at the university was unforgettable. I met here Romanian friends whom helped me and continue to help me to adapt the university. The professors always are willing to help students with guiding and giving them advices in any time. Because of them and IRO, my adaption to the student life was interesting and much easier than I expected. I recommend students whom decided to be an engineer, to become a part of this University.

Computer engineering and technology have been my greatest passion since I was a little kid. Studying at the UTCN has given me the honor to meet and do research with great professors and Ph.D. colleagues and to add knowledge and experience as I was privileged to teach in the same faculty that I study in, inspire, and get inspired by B.Sc. students as well. The professors are patient, kind, never hesitate to guide me, and to share the amount of knowledge that they have. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I am lucky to have the opportunity to study here in Romania, I was always welcomed and felt like home.

After I graduated high school, I was sure that I wanted to give my everything to change the world for the better. That is why I chose Environmental Engineering where I took classes that helped me develop new skills and strengthen my desire to make a change for a better life for me and my loved ones and make a meaningful contribution to the environment. I had teachers who through professional skills, dedication and passion inspired me and taught me that this is an important topic not only for the future, but also for the present. In addition, the subjects are extremely interesting and helped to increase my analytical thinking skills. During these four beautiful years of student life Cluj-Napoca became a second home to me. This city is radiating with magic, kindness and you can find a variety of activities for all the ages and interests. It is the best city to grow, to challenge yourself, to learn from mistakes and why not, fall in love. Having said the above, believe that it’s time for you to have one of the most extraordinary experiences in lifetime and become a student in Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
