The CNaVT certifies language proficiency of Dutch as a foreign language worldwide, using task based and domain specific exams related to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for Languages. By passing the exam students prove that they mastered enough Dutch to be able to speak, have conversations, listen, read and write in certain contexts. The CNaVT Educatief Startbekwaam certificate provides access to most Dutch university courses. To start the CNaVT Educatief Startbekwaam course prior knowledge of the Dutch language (at least CEFR B1 level) is required.
LanguageOne offers Grade 1 – 3 courses to acquire basic Dutch language and culture knowledge. This programme focusses on conversational Dutch and basic reading and writing.
