About Erasmus+

ERASMUS+: Enriching lives, opening minds

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s flagship mobility programme for education, training, youth and sport

Erasmus+ aims to enhance skills, promote innovation in education and foster intercultural dialogues and social inclusion through cross-border cooperation and mobility. The programme supports a wide range of activities including joint master degrees, student and staff exchanges, strategic partnerships between institutions and capacity-building projects.

The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, green and digital transitions and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life. It has opportunities for all ages and more choice for organisations: https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/
Some opportunities are open to non-EU countries like Singapore.

Are you interested in studying abroad at multiple universities in Europe and beyond, earn a joint Master Degree and gain priceless academic and cultural experiences?

Explore the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, prestigious international masters, jointly designed and delivered by a group of higher education institutions. They involve at least three institutions from at least three different countries and multiple associated partners from the academic and non-academic world. Students from all over the world are welcome. The Master Degree programmes may also offer full scholarships to the best-ranked students worldwide.

Are you a student interested in a semester or traineeship abroad?

Erasmus+ offers plenty of opportunities to study at Bachelor, Master or Doctoral level or gain professional experiences through traineeships abroad. Check if your university takes part and read more about the opportunities here.

Would you like to meet and exchange with young people from different countries and work on shared projects for a short period?

Youth exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet, live together and work on shared projects for short periods. Youth exchanges take place outside the school environment. On such exchanges, you can expect to participate in activities such as workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, outdoor activities and more. These are open to youth between the ages of 13 and 30 and last between 5 and 21 days.

You are not a student anymore?

With Erasmus+, training opportunities are available to staff working in education, both in teaching and non-teaching capacities at all levels of education. Training periods abroad can consist of job shadowing, observation periods, professional development courses or specific competence-building events. Erasmus+ supports training both at education institutions and at relevant organisations operating outside the sector.

Through mobility opportunities, educational resources, and cooperation projects, the Erasmus+ programme has played a crucial role in supporting Ukrainian students, teachers, and institutions. Since the start of the war, Erasmus+ has helped print over 1.5 million textbooks, ensuring that Ukrainian children have access to essential learning materials in their language, no matter where they are. Since 2022, 33,000 Ukrainians participated in Erasmus+ mobility, allowing them to continue their education, collaborate with European peers, and build a brighter future.
