“My name is Mihika Jain. I grew up in Bombay, India and at the age of 18 moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as my family relocated there. I completed my Bachelor's degree Computer Science after which I moved to Singapore. I lived in Singapore for five years where I completed my Master’s degree IT and Business Administration, before starting my first job at IBM Singapore. After working at IBM for three and a half years, I decided to get back into the classroom and moved to Amsterdam to study at VU Amsterdam. I was keen to experience a business course and widen my horizons as I had a background and experience primarily in STEM. Hence, I chose to study the Master’s in Business Administration with a specialisation in Strategy and Organisation. I enjoyed all aspects of the course, especially the practical application of theory in the form of case studies and group projects based on real companies. Today I am a Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) within the Deals (Mergers and Acquisitions) business unit. I work in a diverse, fast-paced and challenging environment where I get to apply both my STEM knowledge and business skills.”

“I am Luis Gento, a former MSc student at VU Amsterdam. I am also 'father' of a 6 year-old dog, named Dankje :) During the academic year 2009-2010 I followed a MSc Business Administration, with the specialisation of Strategy & Organisation. I am currently living and working in Brussels. I work in a software company as a Market Intelligence Analyst. Our solutions intend to increase efficiency and transparency in the transport and logistic industries. At personal level, I am passionate about technology, especially digital maps - I am an avid content creator in this regard! I had many memorable moments at VU Amsterdam that comes to my mind: I particularly remember seminars or group meetings where we passionately discussed papers and business cases. It was really interesting how our points of views differed, but at the same time how enriching our insights became to build up our recommendations on best strategy to follow.”
